State Senator, 7th District – Carol Ronen is a champ. For over ten years, she worked to get the Illinois Human Rights act passed. She’s also consistently fought for women and children, anti-violence programs, responsible sex ed, education and healthcare, and raising the minimum wage. Without serious opposition for many years, she could just rest on her laurels, but Ronen has kept on fighting the good fight. Her opponent, Frank Thomas, isn’t even listed on the Illinois Republican website, and does not appear to have any website of his own.
